The objective of this study was to quantify the carbon fixation and storage of trees in the main streets, avenues and squares of the city of Iquitos. The research is quantitative-qualitative, diagnostic, descriptive and propositional in nature. The diagnosis of the identified species was made, dasometric evaluation of the species, evaluation of carbon capture, the dependence relationship between diameter and breast height vs carbon dioxide CO2 capture was analyzed.
