Objective: Identify compliance with Good Prescription Practices for drugs in prescriptions attended at the Public Hospital of Lima. Materials and Methods: Descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective study. A total of 5,120 prescriptions were reviewed in the period from January to June 2019, verifying compliance with Good Prescription Practices for drugs in prescriptions attended at the Public Hospital of Lima. The SPSS 21.0 program was used in the data analysis. Existe la necesidad de sensibilizar sobre los errores de prescripción y hacer conocer que existe un manual de las Buenas Prácticas de Prescripción al equipo médico. La importancia de que ellos prescriban correctamente para que sea entendible por el Químico Farmacéutico y por el paciente, ello a raíz de que se ha detectado en el área de dispensación del Hospital Militar Central, que muchas de estas recetas prescritas no cumplen con la reglamentación lo que genera confusiones en el farmacéutico que dispensa y luego problemas en el paciente respecto al medicamento prescrito; por ello en la presente investigación se planteó el objetivo de determinar el cumplimiento de las Buenas Prácticas de Prescripción de medicamentos en recetas atendidas en la farmacia de dosis unitaria del Hospital Militar Central.
