The concept of vulnerability is an open one that goes beyond the legal categories of capacity and incapacity. It requires a multidisciplinary analysis because it raises the humanization of the application of fundamental human rights and a resignification of legal operators. The intersectionality of discrimination can aggravate vulnerability, causing some vulnerabilities to attract others, which add up as layers of oppression and exclusion.
