With the purpose to find an alternative to improve the organic production of brown creole cotton (Gossypium barbadense L.), we carried out a trial applying barbasco extract (Lonchocarpus nicou L.) and ashes of sorne forest species for treatment of seeds and on the definitiva fields in the Bajo Mayo region of the San Martín region. The cotton seed of the variety Peruvian creole was obtained trough the previous campaign on fields cultivated by the farmers for this experience; it was installed on ground with soil of franco structure which is fit for agriculture for its balance between sand and clay (Community of Solo) and franco arcilloso, a soil with more clay (Community of San Juan), there are presenting a lightly alkaline and respectively alkaline pH.
