Since August to October of 2019, I perfomed observations of migratory birds in the surrundings of the Iquitos city in lineal transect, by visuals and auditory of recognition, and casual registration. The migratory birds report a richness of 4 orders (Accipitriformes, Anseriformes, Charadriiformes y Passeriformes), 10 families, where Scolopacidae (Charadriiformes) was predominant, and 19 species. The relative abundance was for Sturnella militaris (1.99 ind/km), Calidris melanotos (1.31 ind/km) and Philomachus pugnax (0.71 ind/km) and density was for Calidris melanotos (81 ind/km2), Sturnella militaris (50 ind/km2), Philomachus pugnax (25 ind/km2) and Sporophila lineola (19 ind/km2). I concluded that richness of migratory birds in the surroundings of Iquitos city in floodable not epoch was high with 19 species.
