This study was developed in the province of Maynas, with the purpose of knowing the current status of the shortened concessions granted in the province of Maynas and their relationship with the timber industry. According to the results, shortened forestry concessions are a term known and understood by the majority of respondents, there is a negative perception about the management of shortened forestry concessions, there is discontent and lack of confidence in current forestry concessions as a driving forcé for the development of the timber sector in the region.
