Cine y valores humanos” es un proyecto de la Facultad de Comunicación de la Universidad de Lima de introducción a la cultura cinematográfica, organizado por el profesor Fernando Ruiz Vallejos. Está dirigido a los alumnos de tercero, cuarto y quinto de secundaria, y a los profesores de colegios de Lima metropolitana. Se trata de brindar formación en apreciación cinematográfica y crear un espacio de intercambio y reflexión sobre los valores enunciados o sugeridos a través del cine.

Plantear en estos momentos la educación a distancia en el ámbito nacional implica, evidentemente, pensar en la formación de educadores a distancia y en las modernas tecnologías. Cuando se alude a esto último, por lo general se piensa en la posibilidad de un país totalmente comunicado por una educación que articula la televisión con la vía satélite, la computadora con la internet, en un despliegue tecnológico que se convierte en la gran solución para superar nuestra accidentada geografía y la dificultad del acceso al sistema educativo de regiones aisladas. En el ámbito de la relación entre la formación de educadores a distancia y las modernas tecnologías quisiéramos esbozar tres aspectos que motiven a la reflexión y, articulando ello, la que juzgamos oportuna sinergia entre educadores y comunicadores.

This article is an itinerary review of Communication and Education from the 20th century to our days. Basing in quotes and reflections we could briefly appreciate the essential dialogue between both disciplines.

This article has been prepared based on the research “Pedagogical Perception of Cartoons: The Case of Primary School Teachers in State Schools in Metropolitan Lima”. This research has been carried out within the framework of activities performed by the Scientific Research Institute of the University of Lima during the 2014-2015 period; its first part was presented in the city of Medellin at the XV Latin American Meeting of Faculties of Social Communication 2015 (FELAFACS, by its acronym in Spanish). This research is done as a response to the concern of knowing how the characteristics of two proposals of cartoon movies, culturally and aesthetically different, are perceived by some intellectuals from the perspective of their specialties and educational communication field.
