Abstract The objective of the study was to determine the effectiveness of implementing an ICT program among first-year students at the Faculty of Education of a university in Lima, Peru. The research used a pre-experimental design. The population consisted of incoming students in 2024 at the Faculty of Education, and the sample, based on criteria or opinions, consisted of 78 students from various specialties. The most important results reveal that there was a significant improvement between the pre-test and post-test, administered at the beginning and after the implementation of the ICT program. In the pre-test, 38.5% of students were at the basic level; 30.8% at the intermediate level; 28.2% at the advanced level; and 2.6% at the expert level.  After the post-test, the results indicate that 0% are at the basic level; 1.3% at the intermediate level; 62.8% at the advanced level; and ...
