Abstract The main objective of this research work is to determine how the financial culture affects banking in Peru. The population considered for this study is composed of the banking companies that make up the financial system and as a sample, it is taken in the same way to all banking companies. The type of research carried out was basic and its design was descriptive, not experimental of longitudinal cut; being the technique used the documentary analysis and its instrument, the data collection; the same one that was supported by electronic, physical and conversational media.
