El objetivo fue conocer los factores asociados a readmisión hospitalaria a 30 días del alta en el Departamento de Medicina del Hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliati Martins 2017. El método fue un estudio cuantitativo, observacional, transversal, retrospectivo y analítico. Se evaluó 197 pacientes egresados del servicio de Medicina Interna del Hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliati Martins entre marzo a mayo 2017. Se realizó análisis descriptivos, pruebas de asociación bivariada con el Chi cuadrado para un p valor < 0,05, luego se analizó con regresión logística bivariada y multivariada para un IC del 95%, todas las pruebas se realizaron utilizando el SPSS. APUNTAR: Comparar la oxitocina con la carbetocina, un análogo de la oxitocina de acción prolongada , para la prevención de la hemorragia uterina después del parto por cesárea.
