Strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa Duch.) is an important fruit for human consumption. It is species are vegetatively propagated by runners. At present, micropropagation is the most suitable way of commercial strawberry propagation. It is possible to produce disease-free plants through micropropagation. Plant growth regulators play an essential role in micropropagation of plants with traits of agronomic interest. The objective of this study was to develop a protocol for shoot multiplication and in vitro rooting of strawberry var. ‘Aromas’, using shoot buds as explants, cultivated in MS medium supplemented with different concentrations of plant growth regulators. La roya del cafeto, es una enfermedad causada por un hongo parasito, representa una amenaza significativa para los cafetos por afectar su calidad y producción. El objetivo del estudio fue cuantificar el nivel de severidad y el área bajo la curva de progreso de roya en plantas de cafeto (Coffea arabica L.) cv. caturra rojo en relación con el manejo agronómico. La investigación se realizó en el sector Entaz, a una altitud de 1445.1 msnm, distrito de Villa Rica, provincia de Oxapampa, departamento de Pasco, Perú. El campo de cultivo de cafetos cv. caturra rojo tenía 12 años de madurez y un área de aproximadamente 0.25 ha. Se tomaron 10 plantas al azar para medir la severidad cada siete días durante un periodo de 161 días, así como el área bajo la curva del progreso de roya (ABCPR).
