This project evaluates the economic, commercial, social, technological and environmental feasibility of installing a plant to produce a shampoo bar based on quinoa saponins as a natural surfactant, in order to meet the basic needs of hair care, through a product that takes advantage of quinoa waste and is environmentally friendly. A market study was conducted to determine the target population, which was defined as the group of people between 13 and 55 years of age, of socioeconomic levels A and B, in zones 6, 7 and 8 of Metropolitan Lima. In this way, the demand for the project was determined for a 5-year horizon, where, for the last year, a demand of 153,507 shampoo bars was obtained.
