The paper presents the contribution of women in the business field. Within this field, there has been some progress, but organizations still need to continue working. Studies show that there are objective differences between men and women, capacities that both can develop, as well as characteristics that stand out more in women than in men in a particular approach. According to the review of the literature about women and the company, the findings indicate characteristics that most predispose in women are her communication skills, the integration of her thoughts, the management of her personal emotions, the empathy with people and with the company, the promotion of organized teams, the promotion of a better work environment, and the conduct of an effective management. This article analyzes the contribution of Catholic universities and business schools within the Latin American context, through what they consider relevant to the development of their students' competencies. Through case studies, the visions and missions of these institutions were analyzed and compared in the level of knowledge, skills and attitudes that are most developed by both Catholic and non-Catholic universities and business schools. In the case of non-Catholic institutions, the most relevant competencies are knowledge and skills, while in Catholic institutions knowledge is equally promoted, but more than skills, attitudes are emphasized. La Molina, creada en 1962, se encuentra localizada en Lima. Cuenta con una superficie total de 65,75 km2, con una población de 132,498 habitantes, siendo el 56.6% de su población total menor de 34 años. La Molina muestra NSE desde A hasta E, prevaleciendo los A y B con 84% en total. El gasto per cápita es de S/. 827.1. El área verde del distrito es de 4´714,537 m2, que equivale a 37.8 m2/hab. El plan estratégico desarrollado para La Molina ha sido proyectado al año 2025. Para el desarrollo de este plan, se han efectuado varios análisis, como el PESTEC y el AMOFHIT.
