Under this scenario, the present work is the result of a detailed investigation to comply with our objectives and give a response to our approach to the problem. El objetivo de la investigación fue Determinar la relación entre el Presupuesto por resultados y la vigilancia de la calidad de agua para consumo humano en la Región San Martín, 2021. Asimismo, la investigación fue de tipo básico y de diseño fue descriptivo correlacional. La muestra fue intencional por lo que estuvo conformada por 40 Instituciones Prestadoras de Servicio de Salud, pertenecientes al Gobierno Regional. Se ha utilizado la encuesta como técnica, preparándose cuestionarios con la finalidad de recibir información en forma virtual. Como resultados se ha podido encontrar que el 60% de los encuestados califican de nivel Regular al presupuesto por resultados con respecto a la calidad de agua para consumo humano en la Región San Martín, 2021.
