The seed and peel of the Passiflora tripartita fruit, have compounds of great importance that could be used by the agroindustry, pharmaceutical industry and medicine. This review article collects information on phenolic compounds, dietary fibers, and essential oils that fruit fractions have. The pulp of this fruit is intended for the preparation of antioxidant and additive functional beverages. The reports mention that the seeds have a high amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids, phenolic, and terpenes, and suggest being used in the form of nanoemulsions and as antimicrobials. Also, the terpenes in the essential oil of the seed have been linked to the treatment of colon cancer. Evalúa los compuestos bioactivos, capacidad antioxidante y actividad antimicrobiana en la semilla, pulpa y cáscara en estado fresco y deshidratado (40°C) del fruto de Passiflora tripartita var. mollisima. Los frutos fueron recolectados en Huancayo-Junín durante su estado de madurez tipo pintón. Los componentes del fruto (semillas, pulpa y cáscara) fueron separados en dos grupos, fresco (F) y deshidratado (D). Se prepararon extractos etanólicos 70% (v/v) por maceración y sonicación de cada grupo durante 3 días. Se determinaron los compuestos polifenólicos totales(CPT) y flavonoides (CFT); y la capacidad antioxidante mediante radicales exógenos DPPH y ABTS por espectrofotometría.
