The present study was carried out in Forest Plot No. 17 of the species C. odorata, which was installed in 2020 through a plantation system under canopy in strips at CIEFOR – Puerto Almendra. The average increase in diameter was 3.80 mm, while the average increase in height was 48.98 cm. The C. odorata plantation had 68 live plants (34% survival) and 132 dead plants (66% mortality). The mortality of C. odorata plants was caused mainly by the attack of Hypsipyla grandela. The highest number of seedlings is presented by the GOOD quality with 48 seedlings representing 70.6% of the total number of live plants, followed by the REGULAR quality with 16 living individuals representing 23.5% and, finally, the least number of individuals. they were observed in BAD quality with 4 seedlings that represented 5.9% of the total.
