This research is a descriptive and cross-correlation was performed during November 2008 and February 2009 in the Human Settlement Jaguey District of San Jose, Province of Pacasmayo, Department of La Libertad, with the purpose of determining the relationship between lifestyle, situational factors: economic income, job stability, schooliny, type of family, marital status, family vital cycle, with the family functioning. The universe was constituded of 306 families selected according to inclusion criterias, of whom 173 constituded the sample.
