In the present study, the general objective was sought: To identify how municipal management is related to local development from the perspective of the inhabitants of the district of Contumazá in Cajamarca during 2022. For this, a basic type of research was considered, with a design non experimental, directing the questionnaire to a sample of 366 inhabitants of the district. As results it was obtained that municipal management is related to local development from the perspective o the inhabitants of the district of Contumazá in Cajamarca during 2022, in a significant and direc way with a value of Rho Spearman of 0.673. Concluding that the proposed alternative hypothesis is accepted, which shows that municipal management is significantly related to local developmen from the perspective of the residents of the district of Contumazá in Cajamarca during 2022.
