La investigación tuvo como objetivo principal determinar la gestión de calidad y formalización del Sector Transporte Urbano rubro mototaxis, distrito de Iquitos, año 2016. Este documento académico uso metodología de investigación del tipo descriptivo – transversal - no experimental. Aplicó un cuestionario estructurado de 33 preguntas a través de la técnica de encuesta, obteniendo como resultados: Respecto al Emprendedor: predomina el sexo masculino (100,0%), Edad: adulto de 45 a más (40,1%), joven adulto 36 a 45 años (30,2%); el 40,1% cuenta con instrucción técnica, 30,2% superior, 19,8% nivel secundaria y 9,9% con nivel primaria. Respecto a formalización: el 50,0% está en proceso de formalización y 30,2% está formalizados, el 19,8% no está formalizado.
