RESUMEN El cambio climático es un tema que cada día gana mayor interés en la agenda académica mundial, entre otros por sus efectos que ya son sentidos por la población en diferentes partes del mundo;  al ser un problema global, la región Puno no está ajena a esta situación, por lo que el objetivo del estudio fue identificar y analizar la representación social sobre el cambio climático que tiene la población del contexto urbano de la región Puno. Interculturality as an educational approach is included in the guidelines of the Peruvian educational system (General Education Law 28044 and National Curriculum of Basic Education); however, in the curricular structures of national and private universities, it is ignored, generating a gap between regular basic education and higher education.
