The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of modification of the technique of Dr. Mario Alva Astudillo in the yield of the synthesis of 1-bromobutane, 1-bromo-2-methylpropane, 1-bromopentane and 1-bromo-3- methylbutane. The technique described by Dr. Mario Alva was amended in 4 important steps of the synthesis: the first amendment was made in the reaction phase chemical synthesis, avoiding the addition of 1 mol H2SO4cc and Alcohol working with primary and 2 mol of HBr (47%), the second amendment was also made at the stage of the synthesis reaction, avoiding boil the mixture heated to a temperature below the boiling point of the product, the third amendment was made in the insulating phase product which was performed by steam stripping, and the fourth amendment was made in the purification of the product, washing the beginning twice with equal volume of distilled H2O.
