The study objective was to verify the association between reading comprehension and basic communication skills in second grade high school students from a public high school in the district of Iquitos in the year 2023. It was a confirmatory study, with a crosssectional correlation design, made up of a population of 535 students represented by a sample of 224 individuals chosen with probabilistic methods.
