La presente investigación tuvo como finalidad analizar la percepción de autoeficacia materna en madres primerizas adolescentes pertenecientes al distrito de Mazamari – Junín. Por lo que, el estudio siguió un enfoque cualitativo y de diseño fenomenológico hermenéutico. La recolección de datos se desarrolló por medio de entrevistas semiestructuradas a 14 adolescentes primerizas en la maternidad, cuyo rango de edad fluctuaban de 14 a 19 años. Asimismo, para el análisis de datos se empleó el software ATLAS.ti 9. Los resultados muestran que la percepción de autoeficacia materna está influenciada por cuatro fuentes: percepción de su logro de desempeño, percepción de la experiencia vicaria, percepción de la persuasión verbal y percepción del estado físico y psicológico de la madre. The study analyzed the perception of maternal self-efficacy in first-time adolescent mothers belonging to the district of Mazamari in the Peruvian Amazon. It employed a qualitative approach and a hermeneutic phenomenological design. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 14 adolescents between 14 and 19 years of age. ATLAS.ti 9 software was used for the analysis. The results indicate that the perception of self-efficacy is influenced by performance achievement, vicarious experience, verbal persuasion and the physical and psychological state of the mothers. It was found that having previous experience caring for siblings, the presence of favorable maternal role models, and receiving emotional and informational support, generate an adequate perception of self-efficacy, manifesting itself in the assimilation and adaptation to motherhood.
