ABSTRACT he purpose of this research is to demonstrate that the implementation of the internal control system has a positive impact on the institutional management of the National University of Trujillo, 2016. For which a quantitative investigation was carried out, with a non-experimental design of a descriptive and correlated type. We worked with a sample of 55 officials from the administrative field at the National University of Trujillo. Two questionnaires (subject to validity and reliability tests) were designed that allowed data collection.
