Introduction: the level of satisfaction in health services is a complex concept that is related to many factors, such as the patient's previous experiences, his lifestyle, expectations regarding treatment and the values of the subject and of society per se. Objectives: to determine the level of satisfaction that patients present upon discharge from the Medical Clinic service of the National Hospital (Itauguá, Paraguay) in 2020. Methods: we perform an observational, descriptive, correlational study. Sample: patients discharged from the Medical Clinic service of the National Hospital in 2020. We included those who could communicate in writing. Those who did not give their informed consent were excluded. Satisfaction was determined with the SERVQUAL questionnaire. Objective: to describe the demographic and clinical characteristics and determine the precipitating factors of heart failure. The importance of knowing these factors will allow measures to be applied that prevent or delay cardiac decompensation. Methods: we perform an observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study design was applied. The sample was made up of men and women, of legal age, who were admitted to the Medical Clinic Service for decompensated heart failure between April and October 2023. A sampling of consecutive cases was used, and demographic and clinical variables were measured. Descriptive statistics were applied. The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Universidad Privada del Este, Paraguay. Objective: To describe the frequency of coping with death and to analyze the factors associated with inadequate coping. Materials and methods: An observational and correlational design was applied. The study population was composed with health students in 2024, from several Latin American countries. Sociodemographic variables and coping with Bugen LA's death were measured using a virtual Google Forms™. Results: The sample included 383 respondents, of whom 272 were women (71.1%) with a mean age of 21 ± 7 years and 111 men (28.9%) were 24 ± 8 years. Students from Peru (59.92%) and Paraguay (34.73%) predominated, with the medical career being the most frequent (71.54%). Inadequate coping with death was detected in 191 students (49.87%). Introduction: the prolonged QTc interval predisposes to serious arrhythmias. Various medications, including antiretrovirals, can prolong it. The objectives were to determine the demographic, clinical characteristics and the frequency of the prolonged QTc interval in patients with HIV. Methods: we conducted a prospective, observational study with a control group. Men and women, over 18 years of age, with HIV infection, who attended the National Hospital (Itauguá, Paraguay) during 2020, were included. Medical students acted as a control group.
