The research presented below is a clinical case of a 16-year-old adolescent who displays shy behavior, lacking social skills, Attention Deficit Disorder, and family problems. La investigación presentó como objetivo diseñar un programa de educación emocional para desarrollar la autonomía emocional en los estudiantes de la carrera de Comunicaciones de una universidad privada de Lima, para dar solución a los problemas como falta de estrategias de afrontamiento, análisis de pensamiento crítico ante normas sociales, la autoestima, autoconcepto, relaciones interpersonales y dificultad para gestionar sus propias emociones.
