The neglect and contempt of the technological-scientific knowledge of the Altiplano brought as a consequence the impoverishment and decrease in the standard of living of the peasants. An example of the great baggage of technological knowledge on the conservation of the soil-water resource in pre-Columbian cultures is the adequacy of the highland topography in platforms, ridges, q'ochas and the afforestation with native species. Previously, we want to give some concepts about technology as part of the culture that penetrates and is penetrated by other cultural spheres.
