Happiness is a so serious and important fact in our life that this wouldn’t be conceived without it. A human life in which happiness doesn’t have any sense of happiness, it wouldn’t be a human life. Throughout this article, we will try to answer to the question: what’s happiness? , clarifying important questions such as: What are positive emotions? or which of them represent welfare sensation? To the end, we will briefly describe the most recent theoretical models in the study field of happiness, and offer the conclusions and proposals about it.

The authors make an analysis of the present situation of the topic on negative emotions and health. First of all, they talked about the concept of emotion and then the main characteristics of negative emotions. Later they deal with the relation between negative emotions and health-sickness, and they finally end with some ideas that summarize what was dealt with in the whole article.

Los autores llevan a cabo una revisión del estado de la cuestión en la actualidad del tema emociones negativas y salud. En primer lugar tratan el concepto de emoción y, a continuación, cuales son las principales características de las emociones negativas. Luego abordan la cuestión de la relación entre emociones negativas y salud-enfermedad, para finalizar con algunas ideas que sinteticen lo tratado a lo largo del artículo.

In this article, we have tried to group the results from different researches related to EI and physic and mental health. One of the conclusions we have is that EI perceived through report (TMMS, etc.) as well as EI executed (MSCEIT) are related to people’s health and welfare. Likewise, the average of MSCEIT grades for different clinic groups of people (schizophrenia, AIDS, Depression, etc.) and non - clinic groups of people(university students, students, etc), give us a vision of psychopathology- normal continuum, being the highest grades in EI of MSCEIT the ones which are positively related to personal health and stable emotional state.
