The research was carried out in the district of San Juan Bautista, Province of Maynas, Loreto Region, where fifteen critical points were identified, as municipal solid waste accumulation areas, to evaluate the effect on CO2 generation, with variables such as temperature and relative humidity. Once the statistical analysis has been carried out, it is obtained that the average temperature in August and September is 34.2 °C and 35.4 °C respectively. Regarding CO2 emissions, 979.7 ppm and 1021.2 ppm respectively and, in the case of relative humidity, 77.7% and 79.3% respectively.
