In the context of the global urgency to preserve forest ecosystems, the research focused on the Puerto Prado Native Community in Loreto, evaluating the interaction between environmental management and forest conservation and its perception by the community. Through a survey methodology applied to 60 residents, attitudes towards current policies and practices in these two key areas were investigated. The results demonstrated a strong community consensus in support of environmental management (93%) and forest conservation (73%), with a Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.858 and a significance value p < 0.001, indicating a positive relationship and statistically significant between both variables, also confirming that environmental management policies and practices are closely linked to the conservation status of the forests.
