Determina la incidencia de las recurrencias locales de cáncer de mama en las pacientes premenopáusicas que fueron sometidas a una cirugía de conservación con ganglios negativos en el Hospital Nacional “Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen” (HNGAI) durante el periodo enero 2002- diciembre 2006. Se utilizó estudio de tipo cohorte, en el cuál se revisaron, con un periodo de seguimiento mínimo de 1 año, todas las historias clínicas correspondientes a las pacientes premenopáusicas que fueron sometidas a una cirugía de conservación durante el quinquenio 2002- 2006 en el HNGAI, y se cuantificó la incidencia de recurrencias en esta población. Posttransplant lymphoproliferative disorder (PTLD) is an uncommon complications of solid organs and allogeneic bone marrow transplants associated with the use of immunosuppressive agents. The presentation in the lacrimal gland is rare. We report the case of a 27 year old female patient undergoing renal transplantation receiving immunosuppressive treatment (tacrolimus, mycophenolate mofetil and everolimus); she presents a supero-external angle tumor of the left orbit, in relation to the lacrimal gland according to the orbit tomography. Surgical resection of the tumor was performed, the pathology report was: plasmocytic hyperplasia. Later it presents tumor in both orbits, it is indicated rituximab, with total remission of the tumor that is confirmed with tomography study of orbits.

Collision tumors are rare neoplasms, they require combination therapy for the treatment of each tumor independently. We describe the case of a 55 year old patient diagnosed with clear cell renal cell carcinoma; whole body computed tomography reported pulmonary and hepatic nodules suggestive of metastatic disease. Oncology indicated sunitib therapy. Eleven months later, evaluation with computed tomography reported multiple thyroid nodules. Total thyroidectomy was performed, with anatomo-pathological report: papillary thyroid carcinoma and metastases of clear cell renal cell carcinoma. He received ablation with 80 mCi of radioactive iodine (I-131); then thyroid hormone suppressive therapy with levothyroxine.
