El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel óptimo de oxígeno disuelto en el agua durante la fase de incubación de huevos de sábalo cola roja Brycon erythropterum en condiciones de laboratorio. Desarrollándose en las instalaciones del Laboratorio de reproducción de peces amazónicos del Programa de Investigación para el Uso del Agua y sus Recursos (AQUAREC) del Instituto de Investigaciones de la Amazonía Peruana (IIAP). Para iniciar la parte experimental, se incubaron un total de 12 g (densidad 1.5 g/l) del material fecundado en cada una de las nueve incubadoras de tipo Woynarovich de 8 litros de capacidad. The present study determined the parasite indices in Brochis splendens "Green Cat" subjected to different temperatures and three culture densities. The fish were collected from artisanal collection centers near the Nanay River, the same ones that were transferred to the Laboratory of Parasitology and Aquaculture Health of the Fernando Alcántara Bocanegra Research Center (CIFAB) of the Peruvian Amazon Research Institute (IIAP), where they were carried out the experimental phase. The experimental units consisted of a total of 18 rectangular glass tanks, each one provided with a thermostat to regulate the temperature. Arapaima gigas is a fish native to the Amazon that has generated great interest for aquaculture due to its characteristics that favor cultivation. However, one of the first difficulties in the fish farming especially of piscivorous habits is the weaning of live food to dry balanced diets. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the use of artemia in the weaning of balanced feed of A. gigas. We used 749 fish (1,61 ± 0,26 g and 6,49 ± 0,32 cm) that were conditioned in glass aquariums with 60 L of water. For the first day they were fed with artemia nauplii only to apparent satiety, the second to the eighth day was nauplii gradually reduced and the balanced food powder (50% PB) was increasing.
