La deforestación a nivel global y en Perú es un problema continuo, debiéndose tomar acciones que atenúen dicha actividad, con la finalidad de recuperar los servicios que brindan dichos ecosistemas mediante la reforestación con plantones de calidad de especies idóneas generando bosques artificiales. El objetivo fue determinar el efecto de sustratos enriquecidos con abonos orgánicos en parámetros de crecimiento de plantones de bolaina blanca en vivero. Los tratamientos estaban conformados por un sustrato básico (tierra agrícola + arena) enriquecidos con estiércol de vacuno (T1), gallinaza (T2), guano de isla (T3) y aserrín descompuesto (T4) y fueron comparadas con un Testigo (T0), en Puerto Inca-Huánuco.
