Science and technology applied to food provide great expectations for human health, however, global climatic, political and socio-economic situations endanger food security at the global and local levels, which is why the objective was to carry out a situational diagnosis of our country regarding the risks of food insecurity and make some suggestions that contribute to public policies and management. The methodology used was documentary; journals such as Nature, Science, American Journal of Climate Change, Scielo and the academic Google web page were reviewed. We also reviewed journalistic reports and web pages of different public institutions. In all cases we used the key words food security. It was concluded that Peru has no policy or public management for food security of the population in general for situations of natural disasters or others.

The World Health Organization, is to focus their action on health promotion, is therefore critical to have tools for health assessment. The aim of this study was to make a formal definition of health, with the purpose of estimating the health status value of students of the Faculty of Human Medicine of the University of San Pedro. The sample consisted of 100 clinically healthy young students. To evaluate the health status of students were taken on data of medical examinations that students practice them at the beginning of each semester. El presente trabajo de investigación titulado: Nivel de abandono del adulto mayor en el Asilo de San José ?Casma ? 2016, tuvo como objetivo, determinar el nivel de abandono del adulto mayor en el asilo San José de Casma-2016.Se trabajó con 25 adultos mayores del asilo San José de Casma que reunieron los criterios de inclusión. Se utilizó como técnica la entrevista para medir las características sociodemográficos, económicos y culturales del adulto mayor.
