Pulmonary tuberculosis remains a public health problem in Peru, especially in urban-marginal areas such as the district of Punchana, where significant gaps in knowledge and attitudes toward this disease persist. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes toward pulmonary tuberculosis among adult residents of both sexes in the Pasaje San Lorenzo Neighborhood Board of the Punchana District, 2024. The study was quantitative, with a non-experimental correlational design. The sample consisted of 81 individuals. Interviews and home visits were used. The instruments were a knowledge questionnaire on pulmonary tuberculosis (validity 96.11%; reliability 94.50%) and a Likert-type scale on attitudes toward pulmonary tuberculosis (validity 97.33%; reliability 95.70%).
