The gender wage gap is a problem that shows structural inequalities in the labor market and constitutes a significant obstacle to economic development. This research analyzes the socioeconomic determinants of the gender wage gap in the province of Maynas during 2023 and is developed through a quantitative approach, explanatory level and non-experimental cross-sectional design. Data from ENAHO-INEI was used and the Oaxaca-Blinder decomposition was applied to evaluate the impact of variables such as potential experience, educational level, family burden, marital status and company size. in the wage gap.
