La investigación que se presenta tiene como objetivo diseñar una red con tecnología FTTH para distribuir servicios de banda ancha en el distrito Gregorio Albarracín Lanchipa, provincia de Tacna. Es de tipo experimental y su diseño es cualitativo. Se describen las características técnicas de la tecnología FTTH y la solución al problema de última milla teniendo como variable independiente “la red de acceso con tecnología FTTH” y variable dependiente “los servicios de banda ancha". La solución tecnológica está ambientada en la primera etapa de la zona 10 del distrito Gregorio Albarracín Lanchipa, la cual beneficiara a 3034 usuarios o suscriptores ubicados en las asociaciones de vivienda de las Pampas de Viñani.
