Bacterial resistance is a phenomenon that affects both humans and animals, and its analysis is crucial. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to evaluate the antibiotic susceptibility of Enterobacteriaceae isolated from Aotus nancymaae "musmuqui" bred in captivity at the IVITA-IQUITOS Station. A total of 122 fecal samples were sampled from 61 male and 61 female individuals. Isolation methods were used for bacterial identification, biochemical tests (TSI, Citrate, indole test, methyl red, Voges proskauer, urea, hydrogen sulfide), and susceptibility tests (Ciprofloxacin, Trimethoprim/Sulfamethoxazole, Gentamicin, Ampicillin, Nitrofurantoin, Ceftriaxone). Sixty-five strains of Escherichia coli (53%), 31 strains of Proteus sp, 26 strains of Klebsiella sp. (26%) were isolated. It was observed that Escherichia coli was the most frequent enterobacterium in male primates with 31% (n=38/65)...
