Este estudio tiene como objetivo realizar un análisis comparativo de los costos y beneficios de diferentes métodos de aplicación de aditivos de impermeabilización por cristalización en las unidades hidráulicas de la Planta de Tratamiento de Agua Potable La Atarjea. A través de una revisión de estudios de caso, cotizaciones de proveedores y análisis técnico de los métodos, se identificaron tres técnicas principales para su evaluación. Los resultados muestran que, si bien el método por proyección con mortero presenta un costo inicial más elevado, garantiza una durabilidad superior y menores costos de mantenimiento a largo plazo. El análisis de los costos y rendimientos sugiere que este método es el más eficiente para las necesidades de la planta. Se proponen recomendaciones para su implementación, incluida la capacitación del personal y el uso óptimo de recursos.
