El objetivo fundamental de esta investigación fue determinar la correlación entre la severidad de maloclusión, la postura y la huella plantar en niños con dentición mixta y permanente que acuden al Gabinete de Terapia Física de la Facultad de Tecnología Médica de la UNFV, Lima-El Agustino, 2016. El tipo de método se basó en un estudio observacional, descriptivo, retrospectivo y trasversal, para el cual se consideró una población de 120 niños de edades comprendidas entre los 8 a 13 años de edad, de las cuales se tomó una muestra de 73 niños. La maloclusión fue analizada con El Índice de Estética Dental (DAI). Ésta, formada por 10 variables (la variable 10 o Relación Molar Anteroposterior estrechamente relacionada con La Clasificación de Angle) cada una con una puntuación por separado; y en conjunto, determinando una categoría desde maloclusión leve a maloclusión ...

The Paleontological Didactic Museum of Ocucaje (PDMO) is located in Ocucaje, Ica, Perú. It was founded in 2015, under the management of the District Municipality since that day it has received countless visits from tourists, families, schools and universities. The aim of this work is to communicate to general public, students, scientists, teachers, and professors the distribution of rooms and educational materials (illustrations, models, dioramas) of the Paleontological Didactic Museum of Ocucaje (PDMO). Nowadays, it has five exhibition halls, one library, 26 models representing peruvian species like Cinthyacetus peruvianus Martínez-Cáceres & Muizon, 2011 (Cetacea, Basilosauridae), Ocucajea picklingi Uhen et al., 2011 (Cetacea, Basilosauridae), Livyatan melvillei Lambert et al., 2010 (Cetacea, Physeteroidea) y Odobenoceptos peruvianus Muizon, 1993 (Cetacea, Odobenocetopsidae)...

Th is study aims to create an offi cial register about fossil collections of the Didactic Paleontological Museum of Ocucaje. The paleontological collections present 45% of vertebrate fossils where there are cetacean vertebrae, two shark teeth, part of a seal skeleton, shark vertebrae, and an archaeocete skull. 20% is represented by fossil invertebrates such as a large number of internal molds of veneroids (clams), conglomerates of Turritela woodsi Lisson, 1925, gasteropods (Naticidae), and Mesodesmatidae (Macha). In total, 157 fossils have been coded and described, the fragments that represent 35% of the collection have not been included. Th e Pisco Formation has been considered as “fossil lagerstäten” for this reason it is strictly necessary the existence of a site museum that can house this paleontological diversity and maintain a constant curatorial activity.
