Objetivo: Analizar las evidencias sobre eficacia de la infusión de eritromicina antes de la endoscopia gástrica en la prevención de complicaciones de pacientes con hemorragia digestiva alta. Materiales y Métodos: El tipo de investigación fue cuantitativo, el diseño de estudio fue revisión sistemática, la población fue de 35 artículos, y la muestra fue de 10 artículos científicos publicados e indizados en las bases de datos científicos, el instrumento fue búsqueda en base de datos: Cochrane Library, Scielo British Medical Journal, PubMed, Lancet, Wiley Online Library y epistemonikos, para la evaluación de los artículos se utilizó el método GRADE el cual evaluó la calidad de evidencia y la fuerza de recomendación.
