The study exposes the rainfall descriptors observed in the Cachi river basin, during 1991 to 2008, due to the nature of its development, it is quantitative descriptive, not experimental, longitudinal, acted on a chronological series of 3016 records of monthly precipitation in 22 hydrometeorological stations managed by the Regional Government of Ayacucho. The data were organized in Excel and processed in SPSS, then the analysis of variance was performed, applying descriptive statistics and multiple comparisons of Duncan, observing that at least one of the averages of the monthly rainfall is different from the others. Esta investigación tiene el propósito principal de brindar al sector de la ciudad de Chiclayo al que pertenece, un equipamiento de usos que complementen las actividades existentes teniendo en cuenta aquello de lo que carece en su contexto urbano próximo de acuerdo al estudio morfológico a realizarse durante este proceso. Esto será posible después de lograr la adecuada intervención y revalorización del espacio vacante del lugar, con la finalidad de promover la conservación y preservación de aquellos pabellones de carácter patrimonial dispuestos en el nosocomio que representan parte de la memoria e historia de Chiclayo, dándole un nuevo uso, una nueva visión, generando un mayor dinamismo y brindando a la ciudad un espacio de utilidad diversa a la comunidad.
