A histological study of the digestive tract of the Tropidurus peruvianus peruvianus (Lesson) has been performed. With the staining techniques applied here the best results were guaranteed with the Horris hematoxiline-eosin method and Von-Giesson's, and noting the sistematic difference in comparing it with another vertebrates.

Se ha realizado el estudio histológico del tracto digestivo de Tropidurus peruvianus peruvianus (Lesson). Con las técnicas de coloraciones utilizadas, se obtuvieron los mejores resultados con los métodos de la hematoxilina de Harris-eosina y con lo de Von-Giesson. Se anotan diferencias sistemáticas en comparación con otros vertebrados.
