Interprovincial transportation is a fundamental activity, but it exposes drivers to occupational risks that affect their safety and well-being. On the Iquitos-Nauta route, these workers face long working hours, job pressure, and deficiencies in occupational health management. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that influence drivers' occupational safety and their impact on accident prevention. Based on theories of occupational safety and work-related risks, the study addresses aspects such as mental workload, psychosocial factors, vehicle conditions, and the transport of hazardous materials. A quantitative methodology was used, with surveys applied to interprovincial transport drivers.
