OBJECTIVE: To detect ocular hypertension with the Goldmann tonometer against the pneumotometer in adult outpatients, at the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology-JSU -Trujillo 2019. MATERIAL AND METHODS: In a sample of 200 eyes of 100 patients, who go to an external ophthalmology office, who meet the inclusion criteria; The nursing staff takes the intraocular pressure with the pneumotometer (NIDEK NT-510) in both eyes. This information is written on the data collection sheet; Subsequently, the intraocular pressure is taken with the Goldmann tonometer performed by an assistant ophthalmologist, whose data is written on the data collection sheet.
