En ambos sectores, tanto productivo como comercial, hay grandes oportunidades y desafíos para generar una transformación digital. Por el lado productivo, los productores están aumentando su población animal, y por el lado comercial, están apareciendo nuevas tiendas veterinarias para la atención al público ganadero entre pequeñas y medianas empresas. Sin embargo, estos sectores enfrentan desafíos como la ubicación, lo cual repercute en la eficiencia de atención y el nivel de digitalización, como los principales.
