The promulgation of “Norms UNESCO on Competence on Information and Communication Technologies (TICs) for Teachers” is revitalizing the transnational debate on the reform of the initial and permanent formation of teaching staff and its adjustment to the exigencies of the new society of knowledge. The conclusions of this investigation contribute offering suggestive data on these competences, being useful in the processes of adaptation of the curricula to the requirements of the European Space of Higher Education, as well as in the international developments of curricular convergence arisen from the work of interuniversity networks that work in accreditation and common construction of academic credits.
