Objetivo: Determinar cuáles son los factores asociados a parto pre término en madres atendidas en el Hospital Regional de Loreto “Felipe Santiago Arriola Iglesias” en el año 2022. Materiales y métodos: Se elaboró un estudio de tipo casos y controles. La población de estudio la conformaron las gestantes que finalizaron en parto en el Hospital Regional de Loreto durante el año 2022. La muestra se calculó de manera arbitraria eligiéndose 100 casos donde cada uno tiene un control eligiéndose a través de un muestreo aleatorio simple. This report describes the case of two male HIV-positive patients who were not receiving treatment and whose diagnosis was confirmed by serology testing. Both patients developed midbrain stroke syndrome and the structural injury, whichwas caused by a central nervous system infection due to cerebral toxoplasmosis, was verified by brain magnetic resonance imaging.
