Murmullos is a contemporary artistic exhibition project that presents the investigation initiated in 2019 on the threats that affect the Ecuadorian Amazon jungle through the transmission of its sounds. This exploration is located in Taisha - Morona Santiago - Ecuador, a city that was born like many other cities in the Ecuadorian Amazon due to oil prospecting around 1939. In 2016, a highway was built that connects this city with the rest of the country, which has allowed its transformation, as well as the significant increase in deforestation. The research results in a sound installation entitled Duramen, consisting of the trunk of a seique tree that was found collapsed in Taisha.
