The present study "Relation between knowledge level and the attitude towards menopause in 40-50 year old women attending the outpatient clinics of Santa Gema de Yurimaguas Hospital, from October 2015 to April 2016, was quantitative, descriptive, Correlation, whose population was 1317 and shows a total of 168 cases, which met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The technique used was the structured survey and a modified Likert-type questionnaire was used as instrument. The results were: women were mostly 40 to 45 years old with 61%, married 41% and secondary education with 55%.
